  Title Entrapped Materials Printer paper, Ink Dimensions 4" x 8" x 6" Artist Statement Entrapped  depicts a scene inspired by Gregor's Room in Metamorphosis. Gregor is represented by a brown, beetle-like figure on the bed. He is placed on the bed because he is trapped there in the story. Red and a golden yellow are used throughout the piece to represent wealth. The pieces appear delicate and old to give a victorian feel.

The woman is shown on the bottom and the man on the top to represent the idea that men have more power in politics. The woman is shown wearing a bonnet as a reference to the show Handmaids Tale. Gold wire is shown over the woman's mouth to represent the silencing of women's voices. The man is shown with an open mouth to express the idea that men are very vocal over the subject of abortion. 

  Title A Classless Love (Inspired by the movie Titanic) Artist Statement A Classless Love  explores the dynamic of a relationship between two people from opposing classes. The white bowl on the left is filled with many coins to show an abundance of wealth, while the black bowl on the right has one penny to show a lack of wealth. The same relationship is shown with a full glass on the left and an empty one on the right. A knife is shown dividing the center of the image to represent a clear divide between the two classes. Ice is scattered throughout the image to give it a cold, chaotic feeling.
